Despite what seemed to many to be insurmountable odds, the vegan cookie dearth at Sparrows Coffee, Tea and Newsstand has been remedied. Make no mistake, I’m sore as hell and will probably be taking a nap today but it’s worth it, knowing that vegans, non-vegans and those of the gluten-free persuasion (PB Crispies) can enjoy a delicious treat. Peanut butter cupcakes and energy brittle will arrive soon but for now you can find Oatmeal Madisons, Elvis Costellos, Chocolate Bundles of Joy, coconut almond macaroons, PB Crispies and 3rd Date Bars at Sparrows. Thanks to logistical help from a certain @thomasav, you can eat it up.
